Ian Wansbrough has ten years of experience in writing, producing and teaching in the field of media and communications. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Philosophy and a Graduate Diploma in Media, and he is currently completing a Masters degree in Communications. He has taught both the theory and practice of media at the University of Canberra and at Tranby Aboriginal College in Sydney, and has co-ordinated and taught a variety of video production courses at Open Channel in Melbourne, Metro TV in Sydney and the Preston College of TAFE in Victoria.

Since 1983 Ian has worked as an independent film and video maker. He has worked as co-writer with Daryl Dellora on three major film productions -- Conspiracy, the feature film script Who shot George Kirkland? from a novel by Frank Hardy, and the award-winning documentary on the life of Lionel Murphy, Mr Neal is Entitled to be an Agitator.

Ian's other film and video credits include his work as production manager on the feature film Against the Innocent; as co-producer, production manager and co-writer on the A.F.I. nominated Hollywood Ten, Melbourne One. Ian now lives in Perth, Western Australia.
